Dr. Finbar Magee
MB BCh MRCGP DMH DCH DRCOG Dip. Acu., Cert. Hom., BSc, Mem IBCMT (International Board for Clinical Metal Toxicology)
Dr. Finbar Magee qualified from Queens University in 1985, is a qualified GP and has spent the last 20 years studying and practising the wide field of complementary healthcare. He trained in Shanghai in Traditional Chinese Medicine, studied Homeopathy in Glasgow, and has also trained in Herbal, Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
He is a member of The British Society of Ecological Medicine, travelled to the USA where he trained and qualified in Oxidative and Chelation Therapy- a safe and non-invasive treatment of arterial disease and is qualified in Metal Toxicology. He has particular expertise and experience in treating children diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and also specialises in alternative treatments for Cancer.
Dr. Finbar Magee was the weekly columnist for the Newsletter between 1999-2006 and writes regular health columns for other Ulster publications. He is a regular guest speaker on radio, television and at Health meetings, Fairs etc.

Dr. Mary McDermott
MB BCh BAO DMH, Mem IBCMT (International Board for Clinical Metal Toxicology)
Dr. McDermott qualified from Queens University in 1989 and has been working at the clinic since 2001. She initially trained alongside Dr Magee and completed the same training in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. She is qualified in Oxiditive and Chelation Therapy, Metal Toxicology and Enzyme Potentiated Desensitisation. She is a member of the British Society Of Ecological Medicine.
Dr. Michael Tan
MB BCh BaO DCH MRCGP, Aesthetic Practitioner.
Dr. Tan qualified from Queens University Belfast in 1986 and has been the principal GP in his large Belfast practice since 1990. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and is currently the Team Doctor for Instonians Rugby Football Club, Belfast. He is a qualified Aesthetic Practitioner (Botox Therapy).
Dr. Siobhan King
MB BCh BaO DCH MRCPsych, Master Practitioner of NLP.
Dr. King qualified from Queens University Belfast in 1990 and has practiced Psychiatry in London, Dublin and Belfast for the past fifteen years. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is a master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Annemarie O’Hara
RGN, Dip Adult Nursing
Annemarie studied adult nursing at Eastern Area College of Nursing, Northside in association with Queens University Belfast.
She has been working as a registered nurse since 1997 and has worked in a variety of hospital, community and private settings as a Staff Nurse, as a treatment room nurse and as a clinical research nurse. She joined Synergy Healthcare in 2006.
Lucy Scott
RGN, Post-graduate Diploma in Cancer Care
Lucy is a registered General Nurse with over 13 years experience, specializing in cancer care for the past 10 years. Prior to general nursing Lucy had also trained and worked in the area of Learning Disability for 6 years. She holds a Diploma in Naturopathic Medicine and Herbalism and an Adv. Diploma in Reflexology and is a Reiki Master. She is also a member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Association of Naturopathic practitioners. She joined Synergy Healthcare in 2005 and currently runs our IBS clinic.
