Email UsA very fine needle is used to inject “Botox” into the areas where lines and wrinkles appear; around the eyes, between the eyebrows and across the forehead.
“Botox” is a very dilute solution of the botulism toxin (a purified protein produced by Clostridium botulinum Bacterium) and has the effect of reducing the activity of the muscles. When injected correctly prevents lines and wrinkles appearing without giving a “frozen face” look. This service is provided by Belfast GP Dr. Michael Tan.
